Rose Polenzani > On the way to Texas, we suddenly decided to go the southern route and have dinner in New Orleans. Anais loves this bar in the 9th ward, and was wearing the tank top from the bar that day, so we called Cindy and asked her to Mapquest it for us... Here's Anais trying to get her brother to give her directions, too. He thought he could just make it up, actually... you should have heard it - they call each other "frog" - and she was like "no, frog, I need you to go on the computer."
Rose Polenzani > We stopped in Mississippi (I think) and the light was so bright that almost all 30 pictures we took at this non-picturesque gas station feature closed eyes. What were we so hot to take pictures for?
Rose Polenzani > Anais Mitchell became our peanut butter and banana sandwich maker for a couple days after we shared a show in Atlanta. Here is the beautiful sandwich.
