Rose Polenzani > The three of us where children usually stand.
Rose Polenzani > I told D.W. Box (Diane) and sound man John to look mean because of the dark horse in the back. I feel lucky to have this picture of John because he said he normally only allows himself to be viewed in 3-D.
Rose Polenzani > Then on to Louisville, a gig we nearly missed because of traffic and the switch back to Eastern Standard Time (!). This lovely and fiercely talented singer, D.W. Box, put on a gig for us at Jennica's. It was so cool - Jennica's is run by two sisters, Jennifer and Rebecca, and they usually are closed on Wednesday nights, but opened for this special show. D.W. Box, her friend John and her husband Antz basically staged this show, from the space to the lights to the P.A., and it was an unbelievable pleasure to sing there. Also amazing to share the bill with a singer of her intensity.
