Rose Polenzani > Another view of GOMA - highlighting the beautiful net of lights that hangs above the walkway. The museum was still open when I got there so I did get to see some artwork. My favorite was a pair of massive black dog sculptures, called "Churchill's Dogs". Churchill used to suffer from depression, and he nicknamed his sadness his "black dogs".
Rose Polenzani > This is GOMA - Glasgow Museum of Modern Art. I read about it in the in-flight magazine and I thought - I want to see that if nothing else. On our first day in Glasgow, we checked into the hotel at 8am and went straight to bed. I woke up at 2:30pm and went out for a walk. It was already quite dark because it had been raining all day, so by the time I stumbled across this beautiful building, it was near evening.
